ESPN FC's Steve Nicol reacts to the news that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said he will let the players choose the next club captain after Vincent Kompany ended his 11-year stay at the Etihad to become Anderlecht player-manager. Nicol feels it's the sort of thing an "under-nines or under tens team would do" and is baffled that someone of Guardiola's calibre would allow it to happen.
