DNDi and partners are conducting a pilot implementation study in Bihar state, India, in district hospitals and primary healthcare centres to test WHO-recommended treatments for visceral leishmaniasis, the world's second parasitic killer just after malaria. The project featured in this photo essay is part of a larger research and development programme in India and Bangladesh involving many partners working with DNDi.
