Trump wins Indiana and will become Party nominee as Cruz bows out
Today is Wednesday 4th May 2016 and we are reporting on the Republican results for the Indiana Primary
There were 57 delegates available and at the time of this report, Donald Trump has received 51 delegates and so far Ted Cruz and John Kasich have received none.
Quite surprisingly to some, Cruz bows out of the race and we are awaiting Kasich’s response who has no path to the nomination.
With 1047 delegates Trump technically only requires another 190 of the remaining 520 which represents 36%, a figure he will easily achieve.
It’s now all over and whether Kasich continues or suspends his campaign, Donald Trump will now become the Republican Party’s Presidential nominee.
