The success of CSEPP is evaluated during annual preparedness exercises. CSEPP exercises are similar to fire drills conducted in schools, businesses and homes, but on a much larger scale. These training events are the most realistic way, outside of an actual emergency, for emergency managers and first responders to test their plans, procedures, skills and equipment. This video depicts the response and cooperation of the CSEPP Community in the event of a chemical release at a chemical agent stockpile site.
