Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT)

LVDT is the acronym for Linear Variable Differential Transformer. It is the simplest way to convert a linear motion into an output voltage signal.

It consists of :-
1. Hollow and insulated bobbin
2. Ferromagnetic Core
3. Primary winding excited with an AC supply
4. Two secondary windings connected in series opposition mode
