No Maintenance Aquarium Pregnant with HERPES Video

No Maintenance Tank. NEW STUFF!
What’s up Fish tank people!?!? So last Sunday I showed you the old 220 getting a bath. Well today I wanna show ya how I “finish off the ole’ No Maintenance Aquarium. Yep.
I have had some time away from it. I have gone slow. And this is an important thing for MANY MANY Beginners that they simply just don’t do. Everyone wants everything NOW NOW NOW, but when you roll like that your aren’t going to be rolling like that sexy momma mother nature would be now are ya? So I have gone slow and I get to see what is working and what is NOT working and make adjustments.
Let’s give ya another tour around. So from the top. This tank has apparently been messing around and gotten it’s self some of the Herpes of the Aquarium plants. YES. We have some duckweed rolling in here. OH well, Why? Because what is better, dealing with some duckweed or dealing with some Algae. I’m taking the duckweed over scrubbing the trees. Now riddle me this batman, Should I remove the duckweed or not.
The answer is NO- why? Because right now this tank is running with a light plant load. I don’t want to say it has a heavy fishload. But for my likings, with this amount of fish I would like to have more plants. I’m not nuts about mixing math ratios with Nature but here is a rule of thumb that tends to make life easier. For every inch of fish you want 10 inches of plants. That’s high side but aim for that and you’ll be amazed how more balanced your tank is.
So right now I don’t have that many plants, the duckweed stays.
Let’s look at the buce for a second. Nothing much going on, we do see some new growth but not nearly at the rate that I am seeing in my own aquariums in both the Greenhouse and the B26. That’s not remotely a fair comparision, as I have, A. metal halide, B. Natural sunlight. C. 80% water changes once a week.
Never the less, the Bucephalandra is still banging. People have asked me this before about Buce, weather it likes being down in the substrate. I have only ever tried it tied so can’t be much help there.
Let’s roll down to the substrate here, OK.
Down here I have some REGULAR, Not Dwarf Baby tears. Now this plants performance is a wild card for me. It is most certainly growing however it doesn’t appear to really be thriving. However we are still at like the one month mark or so with this tank so I am not too worried, it’s just not Jamming and filling in the way I would like for it to. Oh well.
Let’s talk about these fish. I am loving these fish in here, way more active, growing fast and the patients love them. Total win all around. I really don’t want to be adding more right now though. As I said. The fishload is a tad on the high side for the amount of plants I have.
Plus I am about to a Monster water change on this bad boy. So why not…(gives me an excuse to run and hide and go play in here again 
But it’s Sunday, it’s species Sunday. How about a little love for this plant right here? Juncus Repens. I have been rolling with it in the Fluval B26
Juncus Repens is actually Native to the USA in the south east. I like it because of its Neon COLOR and ease of growing. I have had to trim it a few times in the b26 at home. It looks like a dwarf sag only with thinner leaves and instead of sending out low runners, it goes upward. You can trim that and replant it, it doesn’t need roots to regrow. It can handle most water conditions, the better you treat it, the more chance you have of getting it to show off a reddish hue under high light.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
