The Mercedes-Benz A250e Limousine or Sedan is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sedan. The A Class Limousine V177 (there’s also a LWB Z177 for the Chinese market) looks like a miniature C Class. The A Class Sedan is larger than the C-Class predecessor 190 W201, and it is only slightly shorter, than the W202 and W203 C-Classes that followed. And the wheelbase is almost as long, as in the W204. This is a big car, and more modern, than the W205.
How is it different from the CLA? The roofline in the back, and the boot are higher. Also there are frames around the side windows.
ERROR IN THE REVIEW: the A Class Sedan is 467 cm long.
The Mercedes-Benz A250e Sedan is powered by the same 4-cylinder 1.3 liter engine, like in the A200, but here it has help from the electric motor. And o the A250e has 218 hp, rather than 163 hp. The 0-100 km/h time dropped from 8.3 to 6.7 seconds.
All compact Mercedes PHEVs - the A Class Hatchback and Sedan, as well as the B Class get 15.6 kWh batteries. The WLTP range is between 60 and 69 km.
