The ANC Interim Provincial Committee ( IPC ) in the North West, is considering recalling mayors, speakers and chief whips at ten municipalities in the province. This emerged following a meeting with its deployed cadres in the municipalities. The party says there is evidence of poor performance and mismanagement at the local authorities. The IPC could not confirm or deny rumours, that it plans to dissolve Mamusa and Ditsobotla local councils.
