She was, she said, prepared to leave her job earlier than she'd intended in the national and party interest. It is a high-stakes gamble. And with the DUP keeping their counsel tonight, it's uncertain if it will pay off. In the meantime, MPs are as we speak voting on a plan B to the Prime minister's plan - from staying in the customs union to cancelling Brexit altogether.
