IVF Second Monitoring Scan: Five Days Of Stims And Two More Follicles! I've injected myself with follicle stimulating hormones for the last five days. Today I go in for my second monitoring scan in preparation for IVF. In order to move forward my follicles need to grow larger and at the same rate as the other follicles. My last follicle check was two days ago and I had three follies growing. The doctor didn't change my meds. Yet somehow today, not only have those three follicles grown, but two others have caught up to them and may be in the running for IVF. I'm over the moon!
