Horizon - Feel The Funk
AAA Records # 100. Released in 1981.
Modern soul funk 45 winner from Deep in the Heart of Texas! The Hottest New Band on the....... HORIZON
And some words about it from old picture sleeve back:
Tripple AAA Records is mapping an extensive drive to establish itself firlmly in the rock music field. The recording-publishing company in the past has had what owner-president of Triple AAA Records, Eddie Arguello, termed to be "A great deal of success with the 1966 smash hit, 96 Tears" recordered by ? and the Mysterious. That same year, 96 Tears became a Grammy Award winner and a gold record. We've done it before, and I'm positive it can be done again. Arguello added
New plans call for vast expansion in the market including what Arguello referred to as a sizeable budget for signing artists and recording operations. Arguello went on to say, It's gotten to the point where we find ourselves concerned with more than just getting a single record out. We know we are not going to sign a big name artist. We'll have to develope our own local talent, and why not, the Southwest has some of the finest talent anywhere in the nation.
One of the group just signed is Horizon, featuring their 2 new, hot singles, "Feel the Funk" and "Try my Love Again". Triple AAA Records is planning the release of their first album later this year. Horizon is exactly the type of talent we're looking for. They're young, tremendously talented, and most of all, they have their finger on tosay's musical pulse, summarised the Triple AAA Record president.
I'm sure this is a group you'll be hearing a lot from in the eighties. I hope everyone will enjoy their first records and of course, I hope radio stations and DJ's everywhere will lend a hand in putting San Antonio on musical map.
Recording engineered by Mike Taylor at Gilley's Recording Studio in Pasadena, Texas.

About the Site π
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. π₯
Origins of the Idea π±
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. π§
Challenges Faced π€
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. π
Creating Truly Random Links π οΈ
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube πΊ
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. π
Content and Users π΅
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact π€
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. π
