Here are a few of my orchids that suffered in the past from sunburns and severe dehydration. In only 2-3 months the changes are unbelievable, so here are my recovering orchids.

The Phalaenopsis orchids I received about 3 months ago are all recovering nicely and some don't even look like they had issues anymore. The most severe sunburn I have ever saw on an orchid is practically invisible now. The orchid completely regenerated and started over.
My very dehydrated orchids are also looking like brand new. New leaves, new roots and healthy appearance took the place of leathery droopy leaves, desiccated roots and a dull appearance.
The rootless Dendrobium I purchased a while ago is producing new growth and new roots along with them. Two new growths are starting to create the future root system of the orchid.
And my Hoya stem that got broken is starting over again, next to the mother plant. The stem rooted nicely and is now producing new leaves.
