Chinese Five Spice Chicken Stir-Fry - Chinese Style Recipe
Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
500g chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
2 Tbsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp light soy sauce
2 Tbsp honey
15g ginger, finely chopped
2 to 3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 Tsp Chinese five spice powder
100g plain flour
1 red pepper, sliced
4 chestnut mushrooms, sliced
3 spring onions, cut into 1-inch lengths
Method:
1. Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic and five-spice powder in a large bowl
2. Add the chicken and mix well, leave to marinate in the sauce
3. Remove chicken only into another bowl, add the flour and toss, ensure an even coverage
4. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in a wok over medium heat
5. Add the chicken, stir-fry for 5 minutes or until it's cooked through. Remove the cooked chicken onto a dish, set aside for later
6. Heat another Tbsp of oil in the wok
7. Add the peppers, mushrooms and white parts of the spring onions, stir-fry for 2 minutes - add more ginger if you wish
8. Add the chicken, green parts of the spring onions, salt to taste and then stir
9. Transfer onto a dish and serve

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. π₯
Origins of the Idea π±
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. π§
Challenges Faced π€
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. π
Creating Truly Random Links π οΈ
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube πΊ
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. π
Content and Users π΅
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact π€
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. π
