This is the perfect craft project for colder days, you won't believe how easy it is to make your own touchscreen gloves! I came up with this method on my own so it's the FIRST video on Youtube to explain how it's done. The secret is a special needle-felting wool called "Stylus Fiber" (Buy Here:
http://tinyurl.com/pbrcv88). It's really cheap and you can make gloves or stylus pens for smartphones, tablets, Nintendo 3DS etc!
Regular shops charge a big mark-up for touchscreen gloves but with this method, you can make so many pairs as gifts or to sell at craft fairs. The results look much more professional than touchscreen gloves made with conductive thread, which is the only other DIY technique available online. Remember to use wool, wool-blend or synthetic fiber gloves. Leather gloves will not work with this.
You need some patience because the longer you felt the stylus fiber, the better it will look. The aim is to get a nice, smooth surface on glove, without wispy bits of wool. Also, remember that felted things should never be put into the washing machine or dryer because they will shrink and change shape. If you need to clean the gloves, hand wash carefully with soapy water and leave to dry.
