Also, if you are planning to get the new 2018 iPhones, that is iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr or the #iPhone Xs Max and Jailbreak it soon, I am sorry to be the one who breaks the bad news to you but it's not a good idea. The new iPhones announced this year are sporting the A12 Bionic chip which according to Jonathan Levin are supporting ARMv8.3 which in term supports ARM's Pointer Authentication Codes (PAC) which poses new difficulties for #Jailbreak / Exploit development. So, I'd stay away from A12 Bionic for the moment.
Of course, other devices are not very fortunate either with iOS 12 because fake-signing - an important component of Jailbreaking is now gone. Jonathan has posted an article on his book's forum a few hours ago in which he details the changes in iOS 12 and on the A12 Chip and how these affect the future of Jailbreaking so definitely check it out.
