A DayTrader's Daily Schedule. What is it like to be a day trader? What is your routine as a day trader? What can you expect to have in your daily schedule if you're getting into the day trading business? If you're an EU resident and your're trading DAX, FTSE, CAC 40..etc this is what you can expect. OK.
Create a Day Trading Routine
- Wake up at 6am - markets open at 8am but you want to wake up early. You don't want to be scrambling to get to your desk. Perhaps read a book or have some coffee or listen to a podcast..etc
- 7am Prep and Review Plan.
- 8am open - 9.30 = Drives + Fades
- 9.30 to 9.45 - Move, Get off your seat and have a small break.
- 9.45 - 11.00 - A market theme starts to takeover - is there a trend play in place? is the market in rotation? Where are your key levels?
- 11.00 - 13.00 - Gym and Food
- 13.00 - 14.00 - USA session preparation and getting ready with the data.
- 14.00 - 14.20 - Again get moving
- 14.20 - 16.30 - USA session / EU close.
