I mention in my video, that Retinoids and Retinols aren’t “the safest” ingredients and can be harmful and aging to your skin when applied to your skin in the presence of sunlight, which is why they suggest you wear spf when using this product. I just found this news out while doing research for this video, so I haven’t given up my retinoids altogether, but I am starting to find out that there are other great anti-aging alternatives. I have read that glycolic acid is a great alternative, and I plan on trying out The Ordinary’s glycolic acid toning solution soon. Let me know your thoughts on this issue, I’d love to hear your take on it
