Many of you have been asking us if it’s possible to create cool special like explosions, flames, lightning, or animated character from a game or movie using our video editor. The answer is yes! Not only is it possible, but it’s also extremely easy!
We have prepared for you a longer 2-part video tutorial in which we’ll show you different ways to create special effects and animation in Movavi Video Editor. In the first part, we’ll teach you how to overlay photos, pictures, memes, and gifs on your video.
Step 1. Install the software. Download Movavi Video Editor for Windows or Mac and install it on your computer.
Step 2. Add video to the program. Click “Add media” files and select the video files you want to add to your clip. Then find a picture with a transparent background that you’d like to add to the main video. Typically, the format of such images is PNG. Add it to the program in the same way.
Step 3. Move the clip on to an additional track. To create a split screen effect, drag the image with the transparent background to the additional video track, which is located above the main video track.
Step 4. Adjust the settings for the videos. Double-click on the top clip to open the preview window. You can adjust the picture size by pulling on the edges of the image.
Step 5. Save your finished clip. When it’s ready, click Export and select the appropriate tab at the top of the export window.
Overlaying your video with pictures and gifs with transparent backgrounds is just one way to add special effects to your video. Want to add an explosion? Or maybe a stylish animated intro? Yes? Then be sure to watch the second part of our tutorial when it’s posted next week. Spoiler alert: you will only need a green screen video for that one.
So you don’t miss the second part of our video tutorial, in which we show you how to create amazing special effects using Chroma Key, click the subscribe button and give this video a big thumbs up!

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥
Origins of the Idea 🌱
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠
Challenges Faced 🤔
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍
Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube 📺
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟
Content and Users 🎵
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact 🤑
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
