HUAWEI SMARTWATCH
If you haven't tried one, they are pretty slick, sure they're not as functional as an Apple Watch, but their battery life is rock solid. For example, after 2 weeks of standby, the phone was still rocking over 30% battery life. The only way to connect your watch to your phone is via the Huawei Health app, so in this test I stopped using my watch in those 2 weeks and set the Huawei Health app to not check for firmware updates, weather updates, notifications or anything that'd require internet access.
HUAWEI HEALTH
Allows you to track your steps, exercises, GPS locations, phone notifications, connect to your smart watch and pretty much everything. It's an ace app to use. But unfortunately even with all the settings turned off, just like most Android apps, it'll still run in the background sending packets to data to servers.
SERVER PHONE HOME ATTEMPTS
The primary servers discovered were all based in the United States. Primarily hosted on Amazon's infrastructure. The packets of data being sent have not been identified. Unfortunately on the Android apps, most apps do this form of background packet sending, with Samsung Health also performing similar phone home attempts.
