Dieser BigTower-PC von Escom aus 1995 hat immerhin schon ein CD-ROM-Laufwerk - es fehlt nur noch eine Soundkarte und er ist ein klassischer Multimedia-PC / Gaming-PC aus den 1990ern.

In diesem Video wird der Tower seit 23 Jahren zum ersten Mal aufgeschraubt, gesäubert und eine Retro ISA Soundblaster-Soundkarte wird eingebaut und die Treiber werden installiert.

Bei diesem PC wird auch die CMOS-Batterie gewechselt, der CPU-Lüfter abgeschraubt und der Netzteillüfter getauscht. Es ist noch das originale DOS und Windows 3.11 von 1995 installiert.

Das Pentium-Mainboard in diesem PC hatte schon 1995 eine CR-2032-Knopfzelle als Pufferbatterie, was sehr fortschrittlich war. Auch war der Cache nicht mehr als ICs oder Modul gesteckt, sondern schon fest aufgelötet.

Insgesamt befindet sich dieser PC in einem sehr guten Zustand und war technisch damals zum Verkaufszeitpunkt ein High-Tech-PC.
