Trump not a serious contender for President according to Obama

Today is Wednesday 17th February 2016 and we are providing just a brief commentary on President Obama’s comments about Donald Trump yesterday.

Speaking at the Asean economic summit in California, the President was asked by a reporter about Mr Trump. The President replied: “The electorate will not pick him, because they recognise that being president is a serious job"…….It's not hosting a talk show or a reality show, it's not promotion, it's not marketing, it's hard. It's not a matter of pandering and doing whatever will get you in the news on a given day……I continue to believe that Mr Trump will not be President. And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people."

Republican Donald Trump has already shown he has a strong following and support. Coming 2nd in Iowa, 1st in New Hampshire and now leading the polls in South Carolina. The most recent poll conducted by CNN/ORC shows Trump 16 points ahead with 38%, Cruz with 22%, Rubio 14% and Bush at 10% with Carson and Kasich in single figures. In addition a poll of evangelicals places Trump well ahead of Cruz and also a general poll shows that 53% of South Carolina residents believe Trump is electable as President.

With this in mind, it is little wonder that President Obama has decided to go on the attack. The establishment clearly sees this groundswell of support for Trump, and not being part of the Establishment, he has to be stopped.

Mr Bush who stood up to Trump in a sharp exchange of words at the last debate earlier in the week, has risen slightly and today attempted to ‘steal the headlines’ by depicting a gun engraved with his name, alongside the word "America", which was retweeted within hours some 15,000 times.

Perhaps this is the sign of a desperate man who realises that he still has to jump ahead of Rubio and Cruz to prove he is a serious contender against the Juggernaut Trump.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
