Launch Movavi Game Recorder. As you open the program, you'll see two options: capture and video. In the 'capture' window, you can choose what you're going to capture: game or desktop. Before starting to capture the game, make sure you've chosen the game option. You can also choose the microphone and webcam options in the same window.
Now go to the ‘video’ window. Here you can choose the resolution and frame rate for your recording. For our videos, we’re choosing 1920х1080 resolution and 60FPS. But you can choose any resolution and frame rate that you want and your PC can handle.
Before starting your recording, we recommend you tweak the
advanced preferences for better results:
-You can choose the folder where you want to save your video in the ‘Files’ window
-The ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’ window lets you choose the key combinations for commands like stop and start capture and pause and resume capture;
-In the ‘overlays’ window, you can set what info about your recording will be displayed on the screen while the game is being captured.
-In the ‘video’ window, you can choose the audio quality. We recommend you opt for 44.1 kHz, stereo, 16-bit. One of the neatest features in Movavi Game Recorder is saving media streams as individual files, and this setting is the best for independent streaming.
