Carrot Halwa is a very popular Indian sweet prepared with the combination of Carrot, home made Khoya / Mawa / milk solids. It is healthy and yummy too. It is also popularly known as Gajar ka halwa. It can be made in a few minutes.

Ingredients :
• 3 cups Shredded carrot
• 1 cup Khoya / mawa / milk powder
• 1 1/2 cup Sugar
• Assorted Nuts (Almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios)
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

Method :
• Heat up pan on medium heat.
• Add shredded carrot, khoya or milk powder, sugar and assorted
dry fruits. Mix well.
• After 5 minutes the carrot will release the moisture.
• Cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes.
• After 10 minutes remove the lid. Stir well.
• Allow to cook until most of the moisture evaporates.
• Add cardamom powder. Mix well.
• Take the halwa in a serving dish. Decorate it with assorted nuts.
• Gajar halwa is already.
