　俳優の田中圭（34）が、一年を通じて映画・テレビ界で顕著な活躍をしたプロデューサーや、将来有望な新人俳優などを選出して表彰する『2019年エランドール賞』の新人賞に選出され7日、都内で行われた授賞式に出席した。

　昨年4月期にテレビ朝日系『おっさんずラブ』の主演を務めた。おっさん同士の“笑って泣ける究極の純愛ストーリー”を描き、昨年に社会現象に。ツイッターの「世界ドレンド1位」を記録したほか、『新語・流行語大賞2018』でトップ10入りを果たすほどの大旋風を巻き起こした。

　結婚願望はあるが全くモテず、実家暮らしの33歳ポンコツサラリーマン・春田創一（田中）。上司の黒澤武蔵（吉田鋼太郎）、エリート後輩・牧凌太（林遣都）ら、昨年のドラマ版と同じメンバーで、ドラマのその後を描く劇場版の公開も今夏に控えているほか、“2019年版”の制作も発表されている。

　壇上で田中は「ありがとうございます、ありがとうございます、ありがとうございます！」と感謝の言葉を3連発。そして各局を代表するプロデューサーが集まっていることもあり、言いたいことがあると口にした。「お仕事くださいではありません」と冗談を交えつつ「ブレイクとか言われるようになりまして、自分的には何も変わらずに仕事をやってきたつもり」と心境を明かす。

　ただ、それがゆらぐ出来事があったそう。「今年の頭ぐらいに携帯の方にアクシデントがありまして、みなさんの連絡先が全部なくなりました」と思わぬハプニングが原因だそうで、人づてに連絡が取れた仲のいいプロデューサーから「売れたら変わったな」と言われてしまったという。「俺もそういう風に見られているんだ、とすごくショックを受けました…」と振り返り「何も変わってませんので今後とも上から僕にどんどん言っていただければ」と珍要求をして、会場を沸かせていた。
