In this video I explain what is AB testing, how important AB testing is for your product and business, and how to do ab split testing to improve your product or website. I also go over some techniques you can use to take advantage of AB testing for various initiatives in your business. Additionally, I give examples of how I used ab testing to improve my mobile apps.
Let's start with the definition of what is ab testing. According to Wikipedia, AB testing is a methodology in advertising of using randomized experiments with two variants, A and B, which are the control and treatment in the controlled experiment. Such experiments are commonly used in web development and marketing, as well as in more traditional forms of advertising.
Wikipedia defines ab testing as something for the web. But it doesn't have to be an online-only set of techniques. Whenever you release any product, the methodologies of ab testing should be applied.
The right way to do ab testing is to keep experimenting with different versions of a product, web page, or anything else.
To do ab testing, you have to have a goal for what you want people to do with your site or product or web page. And during your ab testing, you should have a way to measure results to be able to determine which of the two versions of your page or product is more effective in doing what you want it to do. An additional point to mention is that you should not just do one iteration of ab testing. You can always improve things, So try to do ab testing many times on the parts of your website or app that are vital.
