KSRTC operates 'FlyBus' each way between Bangalore airport and Mysore city.
From a convenience and cost standpoint, the FlyBus is a great alternative to taking a prepaid taxi or cab to Mysore from Bangalore airport. This is the Volvo multi axle type bus, offering a far better comfortable travel compared to the regular buses or car.
These services are called FlyBus operated by Volvo 2+2 seat configuration luxury buses.
There are only 41seats per bus. They do get overbooked during the peak season. So reserve the seat @KSRTC soon your flight bookings are done.
You can check bus timings and book in advance online at KSRTC's website at www.ksrtc.in. There is an option to select the seats as well.Ticket fare between Bangalore airport and Mysore is Rs740 one way. The Flybus will drop you at the Mysore KSRTC bus stand, from where take a prepaid autorickshaw .
At Bangalore, the FlyBus leaves from the platform just outside the terminal building. You can just walk out and get to the bus platform by following the signs.
At the KSRTC's booking portal select the Source as Bangalore International Airport and Destination as Mysore.
There are also regular bus service from Bangalore city to Mysore as well as train options to travel to Mysore.
