We have recently came across this mysterious image that supposedly shows an unknown creature. The image itself was posted to Imgur 24 days ago on December 28, 2016. The person who uploaded the photo said the following about the image: “A family member of mine snapped these two photos on the night of the abnormally large full moon. The time frame between the two photos was approximately 2 seconds. What interested me is neither of these family members have heard of photoshop; much less used it. This was taken in the front yard of a house they had recently purchased and hadn't even completely moved into. Things I have noticed that intrigue me: it appears to be on two hind legs, it produces a shadow in comparison to the first photo, and it is mostly opaque besides it's what i assume is a face. These things excluded it from being a smudge on the lens for me, because smudges don't produce shadows.” Indeed, smudges do not produce shadow, and I agree with you. The strange figure in the picture is most likely not a smudge. That is not to say, however, that we think it depicts a real unidentified creature caught on camera. It is interesting that the person repeatedly said their family member who took the photo didn’t know how to use photoshop or other similar image editors. As we know, this is the internet, so we cannot take anybody’s word for it. We need to inspect the photo ourselves. When we increase the exposure a bit and zoom in, we can get a more clear look at what is actually being shown. Notice that the light source illuminating the “creature” is different from the background. Also, it appears a if the border surrounding the creature has been blurred so that it blends more smoothly into the image. These are some signs that point to the most logical conclusion. The image is an edited one and the backstory surrounding it is probably fabricated as well. In other news, a strange spherical cloud has been spotted over Japan on December 6th. It was posted to Twitter by a man in Japan. Is this a naturally occurring phenomenon, or is it something else?
