Why Cell Will Never Return in Dragon Ball Video

Ever since the release of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ that saw the return of fan favorite villain Frieza, the fanbase has left a pretty big question hanging above the franchise: Who is returning next? Now, one would probably assume that the answer to that question would be Broly, and I suppose that could be considered correct, but not exactly. The original Dragon Ball Z movies focusing on Broly, movies eight, ten, and eleven, are not canon to the overall story that flows through the saga of Dragon Ball. Seeing as that is the case, Dragon Ball Super: Broly is actually the debut of the titular saiyan in the main Dragon Ball mythos, meaning his ‘return’ isn’t exactly the same as Frieza’s in Resurrection ‘F’. Though, discounting the already incorrect idea of Broly as the answer, the next character you probably think of is Perfect Cell.
