Notes for subscribers: If you are planning on getting this kit, be prepared to maintain your Triops daily. Every day I would clean the tank, feed them (2X) and also add fresh water.

They were kept at the specified temperature and covered at night as noted in the instructions.

It is important to know that over the two week time period I used around QTY 4 - 1.5L bottles of water. Each day I would fill my little bowls with fresh water and put it under the same light as the tank. This way the new water was close in temperature when it was added to the tank.

I also did feed them cauliflower and they seamed to like that.

At this point I can't say what happened to them. It was very strange as to why they both died around the same time. I did add a little fresh carrot in the morning, but they did not die until later. Not sure if the carrots played a part, but that is the only thing that was changed on the day they died.

Sorry I could not keep them going! I planned on 4 weeks of video so we can all see how big they can get.
