Pangu Team and #KeenLab Team, two well-known Jailbreak teams will attend Tencent #Security Conference 2017. KeenLab has published the Agenda of the conference on their Twitter a couple of hours ago. Pangu is is going to talk about finding iOS Vulnerabilities easier, which hints to the fact that Pangu might still be interested in iOS Research and it is not "dead" as some might have said on YouTube or on various articles.
If you remember, KeenLab has demonstrated a private Jailbreak for iOS 11 Beta and for #iOS 10.3.2 at MOSEC 2017, a conference organized by Pangu Team and PoC (Power of Community), back in June. #Pangu, on the other hand has demonstrated a private Jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 at JANUS conference.
Both these Jailbreaks were NOT part of the official schedule of the conference and they came out as a surprise, so might get something similar at Tencent Security Conference? Hard to tell, but still, a great thing that Pangu is not giving up on iOS Vulnerability Research.
