http://bit.ly/2livciFIn this video, I am going to show you how to run and use the CheckM8 BootROM bug released by developer @axi0mX for iPhone 4S all the way up to iPhone 8 and iPhone X, compatible with any version of iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10, iOS 11, iOS 12 and iOS 13. The security researcher has published the BootROM bug he called "#CheckM8" as Open Source on GitHub just a few days ago. According to him, Apple has already patched the bug on the newer devices last year, such as iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS MAX, so this works only on older devices like iPhone X, iPhone 7, and o son. In this video, I will show you to use the bug to put the device in PWNED DFU MODE for a CFW Restore or for a Tethered Jailbreak.
The bug @axi0mX has open-sourced is not new. Apple has patched it one year ago and there is evidence that security companies had it for at least a few years now. It's also not persistent. If you reboot the device, the bug will be cleared from the memory leaving no persistent changes to the SecureROM (BootROM). One has to run the bug from a computer every time they need it.
This is a #tutorial demonstrating how to use @axi0mX's open-source CheckM8 BootROM bug. The tutorial is provided "as is" with no guarantees for further support.
