Das Asus-Laptop (oder Notebook) im Video ist schon 12 Jahre alt, funktioniert aber absolut problemlos und ist für den Einsatzzweck vollkommen ausreichend. Es wird von meiner Oma zum Surfen im Internet mit Firefox oder Google Chrome benutzt, für Emails mit Thunderbird und zum Anschauen von Fotos und Videos. Das Laptop hat einen Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 mit 2GHz, 3GB RAM Arbeitssspeicher und natürlich eine SSD. Windows 10 läuft in der alten Version 2004 mit 64-Bit nicht sehr schnell aber ausreichend.
Würde man ein neues Notebook für kleines Geld mit Windows 10 für diesen Einsatzzweck kaufen, dann würde man heute oft nur einen langsamen Pentium-N-Prozessor bekommen, der auf der langsamen Intel-Atom-Mikroarchitektur aufbaut und auch nicht erkennbar schneller als dieses Laptop ist.
