The Horton Mine: Encountering a Ghost in a Haunted, Abandoned Mine (Summer 2013) Video

MAY 2023 UPDATE: Three other explorers and I went to the Horton Mine’s flooded cousin – and boy oh boy was she even bigger and more dangerous than he was! NOTE: For all the non-believers out there: The Science Channel aired an episode of their TV show "Strange Evidence" which featured my Horton Mine video footage! Scientists and other specialists analyzed the footage and found it to be legit. Don't take my word for it -- take theirs! I had a startling encounter with the supernatural while exploring the abandoned Horton Mine located near the massive Victorine Mine in Nevada. The Horton Mine dates back to the mid-1800s. I have been inside over a hundred abandoned mines, but this one was definitely the creepiest. As I ventured hesitantly down the tunnel, it felt more and more wrong. You'll see in the video the supernatural occurrence that caused me to ultimately turn around and head back out of the tunnel.
