Stop motion is a way of animation which makes it look like still objects are moving. Clay animation is a good example of how stop motion is used. Stop-motion requires any camera that can make single frames (or photos). It works by shooting a single frame, moving the object a little bit, and capturing a frame again. Cartoons use a similar way; one of the main differences is that stop motion uses real objects instead of drawn.
The Characters:
Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon
Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon is the Green Ninja, the only Elemental Master of Energy, and the leader of the Ninja. He is the son of Garmadon and Misako, the nephew of Wu, and the First Spinjitzu Master's grandson. Once a bratty kid who sought to follow in his father's villainous footsteps, Lloyd changed his ways, helping the Ninja and realizing his destiny to be the Green Ninja.
Nya
Nya is the current Elemental Master of Water, the younger sister of Kai and a Ninja. Upon meeting Wu, Nya and Kai joined him in his quest to protect Ninjago. As her brother trained to be a Ninja, Nya grew tired of being left out from the team and created the identity of Samurai X.
Kai
Kai is the current Elemental Master of Fire, Nya's older brother and a Ninja. Kai and Nya worked as blacksmiths in their father's shop. With the help of a wise master, Wu, Kai learnt Spinjitzu and discovered his other teammates, with whom he embarked on many adventures as they battled the Serpentine and the Stone Army.
Master Wu
Master Wu is a wise old man and the mentor to the Ninja. He was the First Spinjitzu Master's second born son, Misako's brother-in-law, the late Garmadon's younger brother, and Lloyd's paternal uncle.
Iron Man
Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, simply known as Tony Stark, and also known as the famous super-hero named Iron Man. He is a billionaire, genius, playboy, and philanthropist. He is well-known as Iron Man, owns Stark Industries, is its CEO, lives in his house in Malibu, and is one of the founding and lead member of The Avengers.
Hulk (Bruce Banner)
Bruce Banner was a scientist who was working on a gamma bomb when he noticed teenager Rick Jones out on the test range. Although he rushed out into the test site and heroically pushed the boy into the protective trench to save him from the blast, Bruce was exposed to extreme amounts of gamma radiation that altered his DNA structure due to gamma rays and trauma passed down by his Father and caused him to become a giant green (at first grey) monster (Hulk) of incredible power whenever he starts to get angry.
Dr. Octopus
Doctor Octopus (real name: Otto Gunther Octavius) is one of Spider-Man's most dangerous and recurring antagonists in the Marvel franchise, as well as his second archenemy. He later takes on the Spider-Man Mantle.
