Please keep in mind that this is my POWDER foundation technique, if I were using liquid foundation, bb cream, or a cream face base product in general, the only difference would be applying that FIRST avoiding the eye area if I was using a concealer and I would set it with a different, loose powder AFTER I did the concealing steps. Same technique applies though. I do switch up the powder products and the concealers that I use quite often, depending on the amount of coverage, SPF, and longevity I'm looking for but the overall application method is the same. I do also make my makeup work while it is on the skin, SPF is a big factor in what I wear all over my face. I figure as long as something is going to be siting on my face all day that it had better have some benefits while its there ;) There are times when heavier coverage, stronger contour, more blush, less blush, etc... will be needed but in general this is my day to day technique or perhaps routine... although the products change quite often. Usually this takes me between 5-10 minutes, but I talked quite a bit, I was really just trying to explain why I do what I do and that the end result to the naked eye is very skin like. I sure hope I made sense. I know this isn't for everyone, but it is for me. Please keep in mind that when doing makeup, if YOU like your makeup and if YOU like how you look in the mirror, that is all that matters and don't let anyone tell you different! ** A little side note : I know I didn't touch too much on blemishes, but just a tip... this entire routine you see in this video would cover up a break-out on my face if there were to be one. Years ago I would use the regular version of the BareMinerals Foundation and it worked great. I don't use that one as often because if I'm working and sweating the bismuth Oxychloride it contains (thats the ingredient that gives it its shine) will make my skin itch. I still wear it sometimes but not as often. A lot of the time, while there may be a little blemish sticking out here and there when you done with your entire face and eye makeup it will become very unnoticeable. So I wouldn't necessarily go to town with super heavy coverage on blemishes before done with all the makeup. And again... I hope I made sense :/ LOL
