Bincang Menteri Nadiem dengan Elon Musk Video

Mendikbudristek Nadiem Makarim berdialog dengan Elon Musk pada acara "Intergenerational Dialogue for Our Emerging Future" yang berlangsung di Bali, Senin (14/11).

“Intergenerational atau lintas generasi adalah konsep penting dalam keberlanjutan sebab mewakili pentingnya berkolaborasi dalam upaya mewujudkan masa depan yang lebih baik. Dengan mengedepankan kolaborasi lintas sektor dan lintas generasi, pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong masa depan yang lebih baik,” kata Mendikbudristek.

Kemendikbudristek melalui program prioritas Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) menggerakkan transformasi pendidikan tinggi, serta mengoptimalkan kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menjawab tantangan perubahan zaman.

Menteri Nadiem menanyakan pandangan Elon tentang pendidikan di masa depan dan apa yang sebenarnya harus diajarkan kepada generasi muda kita.

"Kita harus tahu apa yang relevan. Ketika mau menyelesaikan masalah, kita harus tahu apa alat yang harus kita gunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan memahami bagaimana menentukan alat yang membantu proses penyelesaian masalah itu. Pendidikan di masa depan pun harus seperti itu," jawab Elon. "Apa yang perlu diajarkan adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Harus berani menolak konsep yang tidak baik," lanjutnya.
