For the select screen music, I decided to stretch the music by adding a bit of melody during the 2nd repetition. I used an inversion of the Wind Fish Ballad to "hint" at the story the player is about the experience as the game begins. While working with these tracks, I realized that I should use woodwinds as the main musical texture of the orchestration for the entire game. That makes sense as this was (at the time) a more unique Zelda game that takes place on an island and does not involve saving a kingdom from the evil Ganon. Expect future tracks to be more lighthearted in tone!
