I can't believe the amount of bass I see and the amount of bass being caught out of this pond lately. I was able to fish for a couple hours so I dropped by to test my luck. The usual HOTSPOT at the lily pads was taken so I had to test out the other holes.
My first bass was caught on a Bill Lewis Ratltrap, I can't believe a bass this small would hit a hardbait like this...crazy aggressive.
I decided to switch things up and try something new. I just recently learned how to tie a drop shot so I wanted to give it a go. About 10mins in I catch my first drop shot bass :)
High Park is a awesome urban fishing pond and I'll be there fishing more often!! I'll be coming for those 5lb+ bass that lurk those waters.
