10K subs youtube play button - hand spinner Fidget toy? Video

Home
Ok, so this is more of a table spinner but it can be spun in the palm of the hand. i know i said i don't want to make anymore spinners but this one needed to be made.... a 695g massive hand spinniner fidget toy! In just over a year (about 15 months) my channel has gone from 0 to 10k subscribers and in celebration i made a youtube play button! youtube gives out play button plaques when you reach 100k subs but not for 10k, so many youtubers have decided to make their own....and now so have i.

i feel that my version made from 3/4" aluminum plate AND is a spinner tops the cheapo plaques that youtube gives out at 100k.

the style of this video is a complete departure form any other video i have done, simply to try something new. i shot this one in a "Jimmy Diresta" style where there is only work and no explanation of the process or reasons given for the choices made. if you are not familiar with Diresta check out his channel and particularly his which blade https://youtu.be/IuDm32pIDx8

i know alot of other youtubers have adopted this style of video and at first i didn't like it...but it has grown on me! another youtuber that uses this style and does a fantastic job at it is Dan the Maker Man particularly with his batman spinner video https://youtu.be/Fd60fACUkk8

the other thing that is obviously different is the use of music in the video. something i am also not a fan of but decided to experiment since i was on a roll:

“Lonesome Sidewalk” by Ryan Bitters (http://waylightcreations.com)
Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License

lastly the watermark... i have had so many videos freebooted that i have grown tired of filing copyright complaints (over 100 this month) so i am experimenting with the watermark to make it impossible to remove, not too overwhelming and if a video is freebooted that viewer instantly knows that it belongs to someone else.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
