DOCTOR REACTS TO KLAY THOMPSON KNEE INJURY “It was a torn ACL until proven otherwise” (not surprised) dr. chris
Klay Thompson suffered a knee injury a torn ACL in Game 6 of the NBA finals with the Golden State Warriors vs the Toronto Raptors. It turned out to be a torn ACL as most people could have predicted. As far as basketball injuries goes, ACL tears are not uncommon.
The Golden State Warriors, who made a fifth straight appearance in the NBA Finals despite injuries to their superstar roster, suffered a further blow in their Game 6 loss Thursday night when all-star guard Klay Thompson suffered a torn ACL in his left knee.
The Warriors lost Kevin Durant in Game 5 to a torn Achilles tendon, and already were hampered by injuries to DeMarcus Cousins, Kevon Looney and Andre Iguodala. Golden State was forced to use its fifth starting lineup of the series in Game 6 because of various injuries.
Durant and Thompson will be free agents in the offseason. Now the Warriors must decide what to do about next year’s roster. Coach Steve Kerr said Thursday that Durant “is going to miss next season.” Thompson’s injury isn’t quite as severe, but his return probably wouldn’t come before the all-star break at the earliest.
In this video, I react to Klay Thompson and his torn ACL. I pretty much called this the second I saw the valgus position of his knee at the point the injury occurred. Valgus is a knee killing position and ACL is very common when this happens. I explain why I was not surprised, and what happens when you tear your ACL, and why Klay Thompson could come back onto the court even after he had hurt himself. What happens when you tear your ACL? I’ll let you know.

About the Site 🌐
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥
Origins of the Idea 🌱
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠
Challenges Faced 🤔
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍
Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube 📺
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟
Content and Users 🎵
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact 🤑
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
