Whether she is enjoying the outdoors, tapping in to her creative side through music and art, or spending time with her fiancé, Cody, and sharing his passion for artisan furniture making, Anna truly embodies the spirit of Embrace Your journey with her energy and spirit.
Coming from a long line of nurses in her family, Anna new from a young age that she wanted to pursue nursing as a career. “Ever since I was a little girl, I always thought that nursing was such an amazing, important career, so I chose to become a nurse in the emergency room.”
Not knowing what to expect when she walks in to work each day and serving her community is a part of what drives Anna’s excitement as she spends twelve hours a day on her feet.
Outside of work, Anna is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking on a regular basis. Her piano, her guitar, and enjoying time with Cody rounds out her busy schedule.
“I love playing music, doodling around on the car, and playing music. I’m passionate about so many different things, but what I am most passionate about is my career”.
“Being a nurse is really hard work. Sometimes I am literally on my feet for twelve hours a day. That’s why I am such a huge fan of Dansko. I really do feel like we as nurses get the support we need from them. And I know at the end of my day, even though I have been on my feet for so long, I’m still going to feel good.”
