Neue Notebooks mit Windows 10 haben ein UEFI-Bios und booten nur noch von Windows 7 oder Linux USB-Sticks oder DVDs, wenn man im Bios SecureBoot, UEFI und CSM entsprechend einstellt. In diesem Video seht Ihr, was es mit UEFI, EFI, SecureBoot, CSM auf sich hat und wie man die Bootreihenfolge ändert und einstellt.
Bootet euer Windows 10 Notebook nicht mehr das Windows 10 von der Festplatte oder SSD, dann kann es auch sein, dass sich im Bios UEFI, EFI, SecureBoot oder CSM verstellt haben. Dann erscheint nach dem Einschalten des Notebooks oder des PCs eine Fehlermeldung. Im Video seht Ihr auch, wie man das Bios wieder richtig einstellt, so dass Windows 10 wieder normal bootet.

Das Bios und die Menüs im Bios sind eigentlich bei allen Notebooks und Notebookherstellern verschieden. Die Optionen SecureBoot, UEFI, EFI oder CSM können beu euch andere Namen haben und in anderen Untermenüs „versteckt“ sein.
Beachtet auch beim Installieren von Windows 10 auf einer neuen HDD oder SSD, dass bei eurem Notebook oder PC UEFI und SecureBoot aktiviert sind. Nach der Installation im „normalen“ Modus könnt Ihr SecureBoot nachträglich zwar noch im Bios Einschalten, Windows 10 wird danach meistens aber nicht mehr booten und müsste neu installiert werden.
Einige Notebooks, bspw. Lenovo, haben den sogenannten Novo-Button. Dieser befindet sich meistens links neben dem Einschalter und mit diesem könnt Ihr das Bios direkt aufrufen.
