NOTE: these tips are for flight simulation purposes only and are based on my own experiences. I could add a whole lot more, but these are just some general tips that you can apply to any aircraft type that you fly.

Tips in this video:

#Tip 1
- Practice slow flight: fly the plane at a safe altitude, lower the speed, put down the flaps and gear and fly around with it! It is the perfect way to learn how the aircraft behaves in landing configuration and you can learn how to balance elevator, aileron, throttle and trim in this situation.

#Tip 2
- Make sure your weight and balance is correct: make sure you are within landing limits, that you center of gravity is correct and that your approach speeds are calculated!

#Tip 3
- Fly a stable approach: no good landing without a stable approach: go around if needed!

#Tip 4
- Trim down your airplane, stop stressing that yoke!: relieve that pressure from the yoke. Use the elevator trim to let the aircraft itself glide down to the runway. + In general: do not force the controls and the throttles too much!

#Tip 5
- Make sure your eyepoint is set correctly: use a fixed eyepoint during the last few miles of the approach, stop looking around the virtual cockpit and focus on the landing!

#Tip 6
- Forget about the indications during the last seconds, LOOK OUTISDE: focus on the flare and the touchdown zone, the glideslope indicator will go crazy anyways, so look at the horizon and touchdown zone to make a good landing!

#Tip 7
- A good landing does not equal a smooth landing: actually, a firm landing within the touchdown zone is better, make sure you realize that so you don't get too obsessed with flaring and making smooth landings. That could turn out dangerous on wet and/or short runways!

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
