https://htj.tax/nomad-offshore-summit-2023Huobi Global, one of the top 10 crypto exchanges founded in China, is moving its headquarters to the Caribbean, marking its latest migration to the region as regulators worldwide crackdown on the industry. Justin Sun, appointed to the company’s board in October, said the region’s “super-friendly” crypto stance, common-law systems, and English language adoption made the countries attractive bases. Other crypto groups registered in the region include C-Trade in the British Virgin Islands and PrimeBit in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, is registered in the Cayman Islands, while exchange Crypto.com also acquired a license to operate there.

This perfection doesn't exist. There's no situation that is perfect anywhere, but at least concrete and decisive steps have been taken and, and continue to be taken because as you said, it's not static. So steps continue to be taken to provide the protection and regulation that is obviously quite needed.
MIKHAIL CHARLES:
I think maybe going back to an earlier point on amendments to, the laws, what I think industries looking at, at least for two clients who have, who have advised EU European Union is coming out with markets and crypto assets regulation, mean and they've published a lot of documentation on that. And just, just to show the parallel between the EU and the Caribbean at the moment now, MEA defines a crypto asset as a digital representation of value or rights, which may be transferred and stored electronically using distributed leisure technology or similar technology. Now that's almost parallel to what the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank's model legislation has. That's almost parallel to what the draft BVI legislation is, and it's almost identical to what the Cayman law is. So I think EU regulation and EU case law are really going to be looked at because there's more volume in the EU, to be frank. There are more people in Luxembourg and Estonia, France, Switzerland, et cetera, who actually interface more with crypto than in the Caribbean by my count at least. So that sort of regulation and re-regulatory responses to that particular set of affairs, I think is going to impact any likely amendment to practice and or procedure in the Eastern Caribbean.

About the Site 🌐
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥
Origins of the Idea 🌱
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠
Challenges Faced 🤔
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍
Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube 📺
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟
Content and Users 🎵
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact 🤑
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
