Are you thinking about a new coffee shop in Belfast where you could sit down a little bit in the middle of your long day, have something to drink and at the same time enjoy something sweet? That's what we have done and even Michelle managed to order two things because of her confusion :-)
This was some kind of "sweet" lunch, when Michelle decided that she wants a good hot drink and at the same time indulge in something that is sweet and delicious. We know that the French people are very good at food especially when it comes to desserts and patisserie, but we wanted to make sure that the French Village place which we have here in Belfast will still manage to deliver the same message and picture about France - and thankfully they did; Michelle was so happy with what she ordered.
French Village is a coffee shop that is located on Lisburn Road in Belfast, where one could have something to drink and at the same time indulge in something sweet to fulfill the hunger of the stomach and give it a happy feeling. In the French Village, there are actually lots and lots of things - chocolate and otherwise - which one could choose from, but since she got so much confused and she didn't want to miss any chances of trying something new and different, she decided to order two things (yes, she did, as you can see) and enjoyed the taste of them both, they are very delicious.
OK, since she failed to decide and got both things; those are a chocolate mousse and a strawberry or raspberry & chocolate slice of gateau and finally a cappuccino (with a beautiful design of a leaf on top of it). Michelle started this sweet journey with trying the first slice of gateau and which she couldn't even resist moving on to the next until she takes another bite - she truly loved it - and after that she moved on to the mousse and was overwhelmed with it as well - of course because they were two things she wanted to try (also to share with you her experience about the place) she couldn't finish both but wanted to try them and that's why ordered them both at the same time.
Generally speaking, we admire something called chocolate (actually, who doesn't?) and the word "French" in the name of the cafe attracted us to come inside, check what they have, and then order something to see how good they are, and we have to be fair enough about all that and say that they made us - especially Michelle :-) - happy with what they serve and even willing to come back again and again, and recommend it for other people as well.
In addition to those choices that Michelle made in her order, there are actually lots and lots of other things which you could go check and choose from, you don't have to try the same things unless you are a fan of them as well - but no worries, there are a lot of creations inside this place which one could choose from and enjoy their deliciousness.
We always believe that as much as sharing the historical places and other attractions that might be related to a specific city is important, we also believe that passing over those experiences which we have had at cafes and restaurants is beneficial because in the middle of a tiring and hectic day for the tourists who are going from one place to another all day long, they will need to have a good rest that will fulfill their energy once again and give them the chance to keep going, and that is exactly why when we spotted the French Village, we decided to come in and try some of their creations.
Of course, there are lots of other places which people could choose in Belfast city, Northern Ireland, in order to have a break from all the walking and touring, these places might be restaurants and they might also be just cafes for something to drink and a small piece of sweet-something to eat - just like the case with the French Village place.
