A visit to Heaton Park Tramway, Manchester on the afternoon of Easter Bank Holiday Monday 21st April 2014 for their 'Blackpool theme day'.
The tramway at Heaton Park runs for about quarter of a mile on a stretch of line previously used as a siding for the Manchester Corporation Trams and has been running since 1980.
Three trams were in operation and as it was a Blackpool theme day, all of these originate from Blackpool and are as follows:
Blackpool 7 (now 619) built in 1987.
Blackpool 752 works car dating back to the 1920s.
Blackpool 623/286 dating back to 1937.
