Today we take a look at my Catasetum type orchid and perform a repot, since the orchid already started new growths and roots!

So thankfully the root growth looks great, not much different than what would look like in a plastic pot, but I still think we can do better. This orchid did not have any issues considering it stays very very moist for most of the time.
I am now using the same medium, but with a plastic pot so we can observe the roots. I am also using a slow release fertilizer from Miracle Grow.
It is supposed to release nutrients depending on temperature, so we will see how that works out in a clay medium. The clear pot will help us see any problems that might occur.
