Today I want to share you about this trick on YouTube:
How to Hide Your YouTube Subscriber Count But Why You Shouldn't 2016
In this video, I'll take you through the steps to hiding your numbers to the outside world.
Reasons Why it May Be Beneficial to Hide Your Subscriber Count
You Want to Grow Your Subscribers Before Making it Public
You have a very low subscriber count that you would rather not make public until you've had a chance to grow it. A YouTube channel may very well choose to hide the number of subscribers it has until it has built up a bigger following. However, people love to sign up to something that's proving very popular with others, and a low subscriber count may put some viewers off, unless you produce exactly the niche content they've been looking for. There's a risk that viewers won't subscribe if they don't see how many others have - hey, it happens. Now let start with our tutorial:
Step One: Access Your YouTube Settings
To find the settings for your YouTube channel, click on your channel icon in the top right hand corner. This will activate a drop-down menu where you can access two features - Your 'Creator Studio' and your 'Settings'. Click on the gear wheel to the left of the 'Creator Studio' tab to open up this particular dashboard.
Step Two: Additional Features
On the 'Overview' Page you'll find a link to an 'Additional Features' section. Clicking on this link will take you straight to the 'Channel' section of your Video Manager. This section provides a ton of goodies for you to delve into, but for the purposes of this post we want to access the settings via the 'Advanced' tab.
Clicking on this link will open up another section to do with your main account settings. Scroll down until you see the 'Subscriber Counts' feature. The default setting is to display the number of people subscribed to your channel. Check the second box if you want to disable this feature. Then click 'Save'.

https://twitter.com/SylaRockAbout the Site π
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. π₯
Origins of the Idea π±
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. π§
Challenges Faced π€
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. π
Creating Truly Random Links π οΈ
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube πΊ
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. π
Content and Users π΅
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact π€
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. π
