In this video I'm going to try the Airbus A319 for the very first time in Prepar3D V4. I am very much used to flying Boeing aircraft, I'm a typical Boeing man, so this is totally new for me. Please keep in mind: I'm NOT a real world pilot! I simply flew a lot of Boeing in my years of flightsimming and never really gave Airbus much attention. In this video, that's about to change! :)
Not only do I learn a lot in this video, hopefully you will as well, especially if you are new to Airbus like me! :) What do I think about the Aerosoft Airbus? I think it's great, it comes with many great functionalities and performs really well!
Why did I not choose FSLabs? Well, it's just my personal decision, and you do not have to try to force me to using FSLabs. For me, I simply did not want to invest in yet another super complex airliner. I will not have the time in the upcoming months and years to really explore yet another aircraft in detail (yes people, there's a real life out there too with possibilities to go into real world aviation). So I just invested in a more simplified version of the Airbus that covers the basics and that I can take on a nice flight every once in a while. Really, not every aircraft in your flightsim fleet needs to be at an ultra-high degree of realism. There's the simple 'let's just have a nice flight on VATSIM' as well for which this Aerosoft Airbus suits fine. I'm sure the FSLabs Airbus is great, but part of flight simulation for me is also just having a bit of fun. At times, a flight should be like just enjoying a whisky. Not like drinking a whisky while dissecting all the flavor and tasting notes and thinking too hard about all the complexity behind it.
