Ghost Face in Window of Jail Video

Home
***Note: we weren't actually looking for ghosts. Just BSing around. Just got lucky seeing this on the tape.***

Me and a few friends spent about six hours at the old county jail (no longer in use.) My father is friends with the building manager so he let us in.

We were fooling around most of the time. We had a camera with us and we started to film a "parody" of the Sci Fi show 'Ghost Hunters'. We had no intention of actually looking for ghosts, we were just being dumb kids. However, when we were editing our spoof we found this face in the window (thanks to my little brother for seeing it first). Its spooky stuff.

Anyway, this is what we found in the window of one of the holding cells. Take note the holding cells were LOCKED (they were being used for storage) and that this is none of the three people present during the filming (myself and 2 friends) and I have no idea who is in the window. Obviously I am in the shot, my friends are directly behind the camera sitting at the "Booking" desk of the jail.

It looks to us like a man's face. It looks like the mouth may be open wide as if yelling. And as my face passes over the window it looks like the face "fades out" or disappears.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
